Strategic Analysis
The first two steps in TML Business Services' Process Engineering Methodology are discovery and analysis.
"It has always been done this way," and "we had to do this to keep ___ from happening again" are the most common answers to the questions I raise during the analysis phase. Through the use of stacked questioning, I will help you get to the core business rules driving your as-is processes. I will also help you get to the root causes for delays and errors.

Discovery - In order to meet your objectives, I will need to assess the current state of your operation. To do this I conduct discovery sessions with your team and follow your various processes through their entire life cycle. The outcome of this process will be a high-level strategic plan.
Analysis - During the analysis phase, I carefully document every process currently being employed, the business rules driving these processes, and the associated risks inherent to the process. The output from this step will be the first draft of an implementation and risk management plan.
SourceCorp International Reaches 2.1 Million Images
Improved IT systems, processes and factory footprint lead to 300% gain in productivity.
Carson, California, USA (April 23, 2003) - Sourcecorp International hit a milestone today with the breaking of the 2 million image barrier. Prior to hiring Lincoln Bittner, they struggled to
break the 650,000 image mark in a 24 hour period.
When asked, Michael Jordan, Senior Vice President of Operations, said that he knew it could be done. He only had to find a company with the right mix of operations and information technology experience and his company would break this production barrier.
"Lincoln Bittner spent two weeks observing the operation before agreeing to take the assignment," said Jordan, "but once he did, our operation kicked into high gear."
It took almost a year. SourceCorp, under the direction of TML, added almost 300 employees, implemented a truly integrated supply chain system with their clients, redesigned all of the workflow processes and brought in all new scanning and milling equipment along with a bank of 2.1 terrabyte servers.
In 6 months they went from an average backlog of 5 day's work to processing all documents presented the day they arrived, and finally breaking the invisible barrier of processing 2.1 million documents in a 24 hour period!
