What Makes TML Different?
I am often asked what makes my consultation different. My response comes directly from what my customers have said to me or about me. Todd Christofferson wrote the following in a LinkedIn recommendation, "I admire his pragmatism and ability to work with people on any level." A demonstration of this came later from a customer who works for the City of Madison, Wisconsin. She said the following to me, "I wanted to stop by and thank you for working so closely with us. My coworker was very nervous about it when we went into our testing session, and you took such a great approach with him. We had been worried that he would retire over this project, and at the end of the day he told me that it went really well and he thinks he can do this. So, again, thank you so much for helping us get where we are today."
To sum it up, what makes TML different is my dedication to my customer's business and the focused, personal attention I give every member of my customer's company. Overview
I am an infrastructure specialist and project consultant who helps business and government agencies achieve their long term goals of increasing output while controlling costs and providing high levels of service. Utilizing a complex combination of highly specialized skills developed during many years of senior management experience in the corporate world as well as more than 13 years of consulting experience to business and government agencies, I am able to quickly understand my clients' needs and employ the correct techniques and tools to accomplish their goals.
As a business consultant, I am an infrastructure specialist who focuses on helping companies optimize their systems in preparation for growth. By having optimized systems, a business can mitigate the risk of ramping up their operations to take on new business. My services include operational assessment, project planning and execution, developing change management personnel, and providing customized training using real-world scenarios.
As a small business consultant, I have helped many start-ups with pre-organization planning and preparation, infrastructure development, and post-organization growth management.
As a public sector consultant, I focus on software pre-implementation services as well as assisting agencies who have implemented the Accela Automation software system as they continue to build out their application types and extend the system to additional departments.
My project management skills include pre-project scope analysis, budgeting, statement of work development and negotiation, charter development, project plan development including WBS for COTS programs using Microsoft Project, kickoff deck development (for large projects), daily project management, vendor oversight, risk identification and management, change order management, deliverable acceptance execution, project report development for client project manager and steering committee, conducting status meetings at various levels, and project closeout reporting and final deliverable acceptance.
